A new step has been reached in the clinical translation of an optoretinography technology developed over the past years within the CLARITY team at Institut Langevin, in close collaboration with the Institut de la Vision.
The ERC Proof of Concept FFORGE, led by Kate Grieve at the Institut de la Vision, will support the next phase of development and clinical validation of this technology, with the objective of bringing functional retinal imaging closer to clinical applications.
This work results from a collective effort involving several researchers, PhD students and postdoctoral fellows. In particular, Olivier Martinache and Inès Loukili played major roles in the development of the technology. These developments were also supported by the ANR BRAINS project.
FFORGE marks an important transition from methodological and technological development toward clinical validation, combining the complementary expertise of Institut Langevin and Institut de la Vision.
