Inès Loukili has successfully defended her PhD thesis entitled “Study of temporal and spatial coherence for structural and functional imaging of the retina with full-field OCT.”
Her doctoral work investigated how the temporal and spatial coherence properties of light can be exploited to extend the capabilities of Full-Field Optical Coherence Tomography (FF-OCT). By developing a rigorous theoretical model describing the impact of coherence on FF-OCT and validating it experimentally, her research provided new insights into both structural and functional retinal imaging using this technique.
This PhD work represents the culmination of several years of dedication, creativity, and perseverance, and reflects the high level of scientific training within the CLARITY Group.
The CLARITY Group congratulates Dr Inès Loukili on the successful defence of her PhD and wishes her every success in her future scientific career.
