Opportunities are available for postdoctoral researchers, PhD students, and Master’s students with backgrounds in optics, physics, engineering, computational science, or programming. Projects are defined in alignment with the group’s research directions, which focus on the development of advanced optical imaging methods and AI-based image processing approaches for probing neuronal and vascular function in the living retina.
Current work spans optical system design, interferometric and phase-contrast imaging, AI-based signal processing, and quantitative analysis of functional imaging data. Depending on the profile, contributions may involve instrumentation, physical modeling, programming, or data analysis.
For postdoctoral positions, applicants should hold a PhD in physics, optics, engineering, or a related discipline. For PhD positions, candidates are typically recruited through national or international fellowship programs. Master’s students interested in internships are encouraged to get in touch.
Informal inquiries are welcome. Applications should include a CV and a brief description of research interests.
